Hi, I’m Jane.
I started my Jetways and Journeys blog because I love to travel! I want to share my travel stories, experiences, tips, mishaps, and maybe the occasional embarrassment.
I love traveling solo as well as with friends and family. I’ve snuck in a few group trips with strangers along the way (camping in the Australian Outback with 15 international travelers). In 2018, David (my hubby) and I decided to hit the road for a big world trip. We’d been talking about it long enough and finally putting our words into action.
Regardless of who I’m traveling with or how, I try to find that balance between being a tourist seeing the sites and a local at the cafes sipping espressos, staying at hotels eating out or AirBnBs cooking meals from the farmers market. If it’s my first time or my 5th time, I’m still seeing that place with fresh experiences and perspectives.
So wherever my sails take me as the winds blow, I’ll be writing and sharing it with y’all!
